Bumpa hoist

An invaluable bit of kit us roofers use to get our tiles up from the ground and onto the roof. This shows it sending them up to scaffolding height but there is a roof seat attachment that will send them up directly onto the felt and battened roof.
It’s so called because that was the term (and still is) used for getting tiles up. Bumping tiles however many at a time on the shoulder up and down the ladder all day long. Such fond memories ’not’. Site workers will have them sent up on forks a pallet at a time but we don’t do site work.
But if I had £70k I’d definitely buy one before I bought my dream car.
