I still remember the Metra Gallery car from the late 50s. And the new Metra MP36 came in 2001 after ordering 30 of the f40phm-2s in 1992 after the Burlington Northern E Units were scrapped on August 30.

I bought an MBTA unit. I was very disappointed with this run from ATLAS. You'd think that with the multiple times they delayed it that they wouldve fixed some of the flaws, or did prototype specific detail. Its the same tooling with the same problems. I just hope that it doesnt have the same gear/drivetrain issue the original TLT one has, but Ive seen a couple pop up with gearing issues.
Im going to tear mine apart and fix it along with completely repainting it since the purple is completely inaccurate.
So much for 100 years. Atlas really fumbled the bag on this one.

All the collection of your locomotives & passenger cars are fine with me. It could be worse having another repeat of F 7 painted in the MP36 paint scheme & no details same numbers on the locomotives. My concerns are when the cab control is negotiating curves that plastic wire piece may jam the truck i did hear the noise during your ending demonstration. All good i enjoyed watching. 👍
