On occasion, I will I will use two or three layers of thick felt instead of batting….. So, of course, you would use black or a dark felt, and then the white board would not show through. It’s not quite as “puffy” as using batting, but I think it gives the same effect. I hope that is helpful to the viewer who asked about stitching on black fabric. I absolutely love your videos because they are so informative and your work is impeccable! Thank you!🍁🍂🍁

I'm loving the flosstubes! I applaud your project tracking set-up. 👏👏👏I agree simple is good. As you say, a lot of set-up might mean it doesn't get done. And the most important thing is to have a place to write the details--even if it's very plain. I track my (mostly quilting) projects in a similar way and I agree, it's amazing having it all down in writing! It shows what you have going in a way that project boxes and mental lists just cannot do. Never mind keeping track of ALL the details! It's brilliant! 💡
