The Game Plan - Peyton Gets Sick & Is Rushed To A Nearby Hospital

While at lunch with Joe and Monique at the Barking Crab, Peyton accidentally reveals that her mother does not know that she is with him. She was scheduled to go to a ballet school program for the month, but instead she ran away to be with Joe. Joe Gets Angry and begins to scream at Peyton. Peyton then has an allergic reaction to the nuts in the dessert she was nervously eating, and Joe rushes her to the hospital; however, the doctors tell him that the reaction is mild, and his daughter is going to be fine.

Joe is a professional athlete. He held Peyton and ran to the hospital at the same time. To him, it feels light as a feather.

Why did Peyton had to go to the hospital you might ask?

She had an allergic reaction. She didn't know that the dessert she ordered had nuts in it and she's allergic to nuts.

There is a scene in the movie where everyone in the waiting room stood up when the doctor called Joe's name.
