Hi there! I know this is an old video! I have an essay on whether or not the eurozone was fatally flawed, and the structure is a section on the fiscal union and a section on the banking union. I have to decide which was the most flawed. Please can you help! Thank you

Thanks so much for answering my questions!! Very well articulated as always, and also, congrats on getting so close to 10k subs so fast! I'm pretty sure the channel's growth will start accelerating noticeably from now on.

And concerning central banking, I do have a question:
Ok so I heard this sort of "tall tale" that a family (yes, 1 family only) of "elites" has members in, and hence a certain degree of control over, almost every central bank in the entire world. They use this to leverage politics on an international scale to favor their whims and make entire countries heed their indirect commands.
Let's suppose for a second that this extremely far-fetched (IMO at least) supposition were true, would the conclusion be true as well? In other words, if a single, uniform entity that is in complete agreement has control over every central bank in the world, would they be able to manipulate international politics freely? It just doesn't make sense to me.

And if it doesn't make sense to you either, please don't bother including it in next week's video XD I know it sounds like mumbo-jumbo.

Just found your channel, insta-subscribe :)
It's hard to find political and economic commentators on YT with more than three braincells who
actually make an effort to be objective and reasonable and are not foaming at the mouth with ideological nonsense!

What if each EU country operated its own monetary policy, then what problems would arise under that structure?

Did central banks really save the world after the last financial crisis? They certainly seem to say so, what are your thoughts?
