9/12/2024: A Presidential Debate and a Pair of Storms

A typhoon in Vietnam and a hurricane in America are two of the stories we're covering this Thursday. And as promised, we're bringing you some highlights of the first (and possibly only) U.S. presidential debate between Vice President Harris and former President Trump. History involving the Lascaux Cave Paintings, a controversy concerning the Olympic rings on the Eiffel Tower, and a proposal only a farmer could pull off are some of today's other topics.

My 6th graders enjoy your videos so much! We watch every day at School and hope for a shout-out soon. We are the SEAHAWKS from the Outer Banks of North Carolina in Kill Devil Hills. Our School is called First Flight Middle School because we are right across the street from the Wright Brothers' Memorial, Orville and Wilbur's place of the first 12-second flight on Dec. 17th, 1903!

Dear Mr. Carl Azuz,

Great Video! This is Trevor Shoopman… I am a senior at Lake Stevens High School, in Washington. My history teacher, Mr. Billingsley is probably your biggest fan! He is a die hard world from A to Z fan. He is dying to get a shoutout on one of your videos and it would mean the world to him if he could get one! We watch The world from A to Z everyday at the start of class, and it’s honestly really cool! So this is day 3 of asking for a shoutout for Mr. Billingsley 😄

Hello Mr. Azuz,

Thank you for all of the videos you create! My class and I watch them daily and would love a shoutout. My name is Mr. Clutts and I teach fifth grade at Cobden Elementary School. We are located in a small town named Cobden, IL. One fun fact about the school is our mascot. We are called the Appleknockers! The district is famous throughout Illinois for having one of the most unique mascots!

Thanks again for your great work,

Mr. Clutts and Class
