It's the most wonderful time of the year: a Very Narrowboat Christmas Special. It's raining, everything is muddy, but I'm determined to have a festive time. Featuring: baked goods, Christmas carols and the usual boating shenanigans you know to expect from us. Hope you enjoy it ❤️

What a delightful video. I've not come across your channel before, but better late than never. Oh, you brought back such wonderful memories. We bought a 60ft narrowboat for our adult daughter to live on in London because of the impossible rent prices for bedsits. They were two of her happiest years constant cruising around the canal network. Once she had her baby and settled down in a flat we took over the boat and sailed it from The Regent's Canal by Victoria Park all the up through Britain to The Peak Forest Canal. Four very, very happy weeks. What a coincidence !! When our children were small we had two marvellous holidays in Diss, Norfolk in a cottage on a working farm a significant distance from the quaint town centre. Again - more happy memories.
