The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is set to launch in April 2024, and it should come to the UK this time, huzzah! Here’s a look at the camera tech, specs and other leaks so far on the Xiaomi 14 Ultra ahead of the official reveal. So one of the big upgrades vs the Pro smartphone is that Leica camera tech. You’ll have a fresh 1-inch Sony sensor, ideal for night photography, as well as some hot periscope zoom action. You can also expect the Xiaomi 14 Ultra to sport an under-display selfie camera, for a proper full-view experience.

Likewise, this super-premium phone will boast a titanium frame, like the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. And you’ll have a similar curved display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 gaming smarts and a massive fast-charging battery.

Man I'd love to get the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, if it was only released a bit before the new Samsungs... 1" sensor is a real major camera upgrade since a long time, unlike all tiny incremental computational photography ballshite. That said, I've ended up preordering the S24U

I'm also hyped for the Zenfone 11. Really hoping it comes with Qi 2, skinnier bezels than previous years, and an under-display selfie camera. I'm still on the Zenfone 8, and these are the biggest upgrades on my wishlist personally.

I'm also keeping my eye on Sony and ZTE, but Sony's phones are too expensive, and ZTE's phones are too big.

The problem I see with all these phones you import from china, that do not get a release for the UK/EU market. Is that they have issues with CN ROMs not supporting all the bands for 4/5g, banking apps and android auto.

I was a Samsung user 4 years ago, the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, I had massive problems with overheating, unstable fps, charging problems and many many more. I am now using the Xiaomi 12S Ultra from 2022, I didn't have any problems since, I am very happy with it, but I would like to upgrade this year to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, it has absolutely everything anyone should want from a modern phone😊

Hey Uncle Spurty, here in Australia we have been left in the dark ages with only Apple, Samsung and Google releasing top tier handsets unless you want to fork out $2600 for the Oppo Find N 3. Your videos make my week with honest, in your face reviews of brands and tech we can't get here in Aus. Keep doing what you're doing 💪💪

Chris it is probably going to be better than S24 Ultra in my opinion. I just can't stand Samsung image processing it's always too harsh with sharpening, saturation and over exposure.

Rocking a 14 Pro Ti since early December and it's a great phone. I do want to see what the 14 Ultra brings because I know I'm going to upgrade for the better camera and hopefully no punch out display
