I tried both cameras. Both take stunning photos. But the thing with iPhone is that I take out the phone, take a random photo and I'm sure that photo is gonna be amazing. iPhone has much more consistent photos. The portrait mode feels a bit more DSLR ish. But landscape photos or photos that are not portrait are amazing on the Samsung. Video was a bit better on iPhone and cinematic mode was also a bit better.
But the thing with iPhone is that it is a strong symbol status. When I hold it in my hand. Every one wants me to show them my phone and take a pic on it.

I use s22 ultra and really love the portrait photography especially the edge detection is so much better when compared to the iPhone

as a samsung user considering switching to iphone for a camera improvement only, why on earth do ppl just look *prettier* on iphone? i thought maybe it was a me-thing but you do look prettier on iphone too. it really frustrates me because i hate ios, but knowing that my samsung never really *shows* how i actually look is getting on my nerves

Personally I like the iPhone’s a lot more. Bokeh more realistic, colors more accurate, similar levels of detail, and better edge detection.

The SX Ultra lineup sure is improving through each year, fixing the issues of the predecessor and applying them to their new annual phones.

Same goes to iPhones, although the design is very 2019, on which it does spark the word "lack on innovation"

Got to test both phone, although I've been a long term iphone user for over 10 years, I ended up getting the s23 ultra due to slightly better camera. However video taking on the iphone is definitely better.
