I see where you’re coming from, but I also think that any debates about personhood and when it is permissible to end a life will inevitably involve religious perspectives (and also because most people in the US identify with a religion).

I also noticed that this is a clip that uses the phrase “sin”, obviously a religiously loaded term, but the issue could be put in terms of rights — a violation of the right to life, to be specific — to frame it in more secular terms.

Straw man. Liberals always try to say abortion is a religious debate. It is not. The core if the abortion debate is the question, "When does a life have autonomy, amd how do you know that?" That is it. People on the right tend to believe that babies in the womb have autonomy, people on the left don't think they do. That is it. That is all. Yes, some Christians say it's because if their religion, but that's not the majority of pro-life. It's easy to defeat a position wheb you frame it in that way without being honest.

I’m Jewish from Israel and I don’t know where you took that abortions are religiously allowed. The issue with America in my opinion is the glorified act of abortion and it should stop. Also how many black babies we lost, look at statistics it’s horrifying, planet parenthood was made to minimize black America. Pro life means also saving the mother’s life, meaning that medical abortion will continue to be done if medically necessary. The law is for the sluts that choose to have 16 abortions in their early 20s to stop and do a proactive preventative measures rather then killing babies.
