The AI in this game is so random one week you’ll play Alabama and destroy them in your first season of your rebuild and then the next week Old Dominions quarterback is going 35/38 for 531 yards and 8 tds. I’m almost certain that the AI is way better with some playbooks than others. It just doesn’t make sense otherwise.

17:56 i don’t think any team at any level would ever expect a linebacker to cover that in a tampa 2. it plays very much like a cover 3 but there’s still a reason why it’s a cover 2 and it’s because a linebacker can’t take that away when a deep middle safety should. it’s just a bad call in the situation

You're absolutely right about scrambling QB's, however what gets me agitated watching people play is when they refuse to take a 5 star pocket passer because they know the 2 star scrambler fits their personal play style better. Everything being equal I'm taking a 4/5 star mobile QB all day every day too, I'm just also tailoring my offense around that 5 star.

I haven't followed your channel long enough to see where anything you've done has been crazy though. You were in a position to get 3 stars max and prioritized a scrambler over a pocket guy. With a bad O-line and skill positions lacking that's a no brainer.

Anyone talking bad about scrambling QBs might not understand modern football. QBs that can run is the new meta and that's what makes an offense dangerous. NFL teams are looking for the next best scrambling passer for a reason.
