I went through my whole 50th year repeating that 50 years old and I can kick! 90% of people didn't get it so I always looked kind of dumb. LOL

Sadly, I was in my 20s when this first aired and 50 seemed so old and far away. Now I’m almost 50 & still fab! And I can still kick & stretch & kick!!!👸🏽 😂💃🏽😂💃🏽

Molly's physical comedy is outrageously funny

They definitely need to wheel out Sally O'Malley for SNL's 50th anniversary.

Repeatedly saying "I'm 50" could get old, but Molly Shannon, brilliant comedian that she is, knows just how to say it.

Sally O Malley is like the female version of Chris Farley's motivational speaker.

Yesterday was my 50th birthday. Thank you, Sally O'Malley, for being an inspiration to us older gals who aren't afraid to say their age. I'M 50!!!

My sister just turned 50 today and I sent this to her because she would always quote Sally when I was younger and I felt this was appropriate

This gets better every time I watch it. It's a real joy to watch, especially when she becomes a "Rockett"! Danny DiVito did a great job being a marginally competent dance director. I'll be back a few times this season. Thank you to all you " stars"!

I was 40 or so when we met Sally O'Malley (Molly Shannon) for the first time, and liked her and enjoyed her over the top celebration at being 50. Poor thing, she was deluded, thinking that at that age she could fit in doing the things only young people do. Like here, a Rockette? Too old. But since time stands still for no one no matter, and when I turned 50 I had a whole new life and a career that I would not have been able to do if younger. And had a second even more physical at the same time. Every day for six years non stop. I was given the nickname"Machine" and was silently proud of that considering I was older than my boss and most everyone there . I was 5O! 50 YEARS OLD! And I knew where Sally O'Malley was coming from. She is not delusional.she is delusion free! and better than ever. And now I'm 60! 60 YEARS OLD! omg, SALLY! thank you Molly Shannon.

I remember watching Molly doing these skits in my 20s and was one of my favorites!! I quoted it often and did plenty of kicks, stretches, and kicking recreating this to friends when the time was right and sometimes when it wasn't but I didn't care. Today I turn 50 and I'm kicking, stretching, and kicking! Thanks, Molly for this skit that makes me feel proud to be 50 today!!!

I have been waiting until today my 50th birthday to post this and celebrate with Sally O'Mally how fabulous fifty can be!!! I think I can go around the office stating "I'm fifty years old today and I can kick, stretch and kick!"

When I saw her on the tonight show and she explained her comedic talent came from having an alcoholic father I was reminded there are alot of comedians that grew up in dysfunctional situations . Molly Shannon certainly knew how to harness those inner demons into a hysterical career . I miss her Superstar performance. Hilarious !!
