I don't remember where I got it, but it is the Hero HD and they are available pretty much anywhere.

It's a GoPro HD but it is about two years old. They have even better ones now.

For this video, and my other dune video, I used Windows Movie Maker. My "Angeles Point" video is the most complex thing I have done with WMM. Adobe Premiere is much better, I used Premiere for the "Pulling Blue" video. I don't think that could be done with WMM. To watch Pulling Blue, you have to look for it on Vimeo because Youtube took out the audio if you are curious. Movie Maker is okay for simple stuff, but Premiere is much faster to and more powerful once you get the hang of it.
