So pure, so dynamic, such range - a voice for the ages. There will never ever be another be like her. I grew up with her music and she is one of my favorite singers. Had such a crush on her when I was in high school. I think this album along with Heart Like A Wheel and Prisoner In Disguise are her best. Saw her Live In Concert eight times over the years. Linda your voice will never be stilled.

Linda singing a Karla Bonoff song--it does NOT get better than this. I first fell in love with this beautiful voice on "Different Drum" and then on "Long Long Time." Then I saw her singing on television; those eyes mesmerize you as you feel every ounce of passion in the songs. Wow--still, after all these years. Thanks for a lifetime of listening Linda--the voice of my generation IMHO.

I love Linda and I really feel Karla Bonoff deserves alot of credit forvm creating original material that Linda could make her own that weren't covers of songs that were already hits. With Lay Down Beside Me, Lose Again, and If He's Ever Near she forged her own identity.
Kudos to Karla who also, obviously, owes a debt to Linda.

God, what a voice Linda had. Pure talent...no need for autotuning, backup "dancers", pyrotechnics, none of that crap...just a pure voice backed up by some of the best musicians. So glad that I was able to see her live shows when she was in her prime. Real shame that Parkinsons has robbed her and us of her talents. Today's little pop tarts can't hold a candle to Linda's voice and range.
