Genshin - You play for story, polished aesthetics, scenery, music, limited time event cutscenes and presentation.
ToF - You play for Combat, Traversal, longer daily/weekly quests, shit loads of overworld activities, multiplayer matching challenges.... AND END GAME CONTENT.
These two games are two sides of the same coin, the other has what the other side lacks, when together makes a perfect game.

I played both, i put ToF for now due to the low sound effect quality and i had enough of the effortless weapon sound effect. Aside from that, i love that game.
