I've never even considered buying Crysta it's just more hoops to jump through than using a card. But I'm pretty sure it's only useable on Final Fantasy XIV content not any other content that are a part of Square Enix Bridge I've never seen it as a useable currency for any of their Gacha Games in the US FFBEWOTV, FFBE, FFVIIEC, or DFFOO so if it isn't and your purchasing it for Final fantasy xiv stuff and it hasn't been used within that 2 years period that's really on the person not using it because you can have it set up to use for your sub, purchase optional items so it really isn't sitting in there until another character comes out or anything like that.

What about stuff like rules of monthly pass subscription - welkins / lunite subscription?... You have to log in every day or your money is wasted. It's surely not as bad as thing described in the video, but it's very questionable too. It's not like you are buying subscription to use something daily, but it's literally just buying currency. It's not right and it's very harsh. Making an incentive for players to log in and some limitations are understandable. But it shouldn't be the case that your bought currency is just vanishing if you won't log in daily. When you just think about it, there is enough incentive to log in daily if limitation would be only that - you can claim your extra reward only once a day. Without losing what you already bought, that should just wait for you. When gacha players start to think that they are more important than gacha waifus and shouldn't be treated like that?

So Square Enix is pulling an Elsword.
They do the same thing with K-ching which is their version of paid currency.
Worse part is in Elsword it expires in a year of being bought and the game is been out a lot longer too.
