I love the idea of an emoji eso lang but I feel like this is kind of underwhelming given how many stupid possibilities there would’ve been. For example;
1) Why not let brackets be any kind of fruit? You could do one loop with 🍋‍🟩🍋‍🟩 and nest an if statement in it with 🫐🫐 and another one with 🍌🍌? Makes it a lot more colourful and unique, and can even have benefits when reading the code
2) When printing texts, different emojis could have different emotions, for example 😡 could print the text in big red letters (might not be as simple because of console restrictions but even just stylised ASCII would be funny)
3) Use more 3D coding like some other esoteric languages, for example you could use the arrow emojis 🔼▶️◀️🔽 to guide the interpreter/compiler in a more visually appealing way
I haven’t actually taken a look at the full docs of this language so if there are features like these already, I of course retract my critique, but these were just some ideas that came to mind. As Tom Scott said, “anything is better with emojis.”
