Trying on clothing ia no cultural appropriation. Its when your insulting or making fun of it when its a problem

As a black person, wearing a durag while not being black is not even PARTIALLY cultural appropriation. Its a damn hair accesory worn by multiple races and ethnicities, and he means no harm. Yall need to pipe down talking about its cultural appropriation cause I bet the people calling it that arent even black..

I think editing mistakes like a missing arm are funny, i dont think we should criticize a company for that its a funny mistake, it doesnt hurt you

As a black person is not offensive to me the fact that Taehyung wore a durag that he got as a gift for less than 1 minute. Getting offended over this is ridiculous in my opinion. This is not CA. Definition of CA since it seems a lot of people get it twisted: Culture appropriation is when members of a majority group adopt cultural elements of a minority group in an exploitative, disrespectful, or stereotypical way. As we can see here that is not Taehyung case.

It's not just about Taehyung, but I see that fans are very selective when it comes to cultural appropriation, they defend who they want and denounce those who don't like it, including fans who don't even understand anything about the subject. I'm multifandom so I clearly see the difference

The sales drop was obviously because SM didn't supply the albums correctly. In Korea, an album is only counted as a "sale" after it's shipped out to the buyer. So even if a fan has already bought the album weeks ago, it doesn't count towards the total sales until the company provides the album to a store and it's shipped out to the customer. So obviously the problem was a stock issue.

Despite my got7 profile pic, I'm a black girl and I hate hearing other races of people telling me what to be offended by. Tae doesn't need to apologize, he did nothing wrong. People forget that there has to be intent to appropriate or intent to mock. He was not intending to offend black by showing off a gift. That's all I have to say

as a black myself i find cultural appropriation in many cases to be misleading, wearing a durag isnt the problem, the problem is when people wear them to look "gangsta" or "hood", thats when it becomes offensive, here in his case i did not see any isssue so why yall jumping to conclusions so quick🤨

Taehyung case reminds me of Taeyeon for her GOT promotion where she wore durag as appreciation towards black community. People are so quick to judge idols as racist when the truth is opposite. Nowadays people can't define the differences between cultural appropriation and cultural appreciation 🙄

A durag can be worn by everyone. Also Taehyung is def educated and he literally wrapped is correctly. He also just wore it for a few seconds to show the gift. What is he else supposed to do with it? Do people really know what appropriation really means or is it one of those words now to throw randomly at?

I’m a black guy myself I’m not mad at taehyung for wearing the durag I’m mad that he put it on and wore it better than me 😭

As a black person, I don't see fault with what Taehyung did, however I do not speak for all black people so if there are others who feel offended by what he did, then those who are not black should not invalidate people of colour feelings.
Also this obsession over Yuna's body is so weird to me, people have been commenting on her body for years, even when she was a minor. I wouldn't be surprised if Yuna develops some kind of body dysmorphia because of it.

Am black and wearing a durag is not a big deal, he did not harm anyone. The problem i have with the whole issue is sometimes am starting to think these top kpop artists are intentionally doing things that can be offensive to some people to see the reactions or they believe they are waaay off the ground that with their fans behind them nobody can do anything about it.

can the YouTubers that report on Kpop stop reporting things like this about someone having a durag on😂😂I don't even think three or four year olds complain this much😮😅😅

Some netizens needs to throw their phones away and breathe some outside oxygen and touch grass. Not evyerthing an idol does that involves a different culture is cultural appropriation.

I personally dont think V should be attacked for wearing a durag. He didnt do or say anything offemsive and only wore it for a short while, HOWEVER I think that he should be more carefull in the future.
