Vintage lenses like the M42 lenses are fun but adapting them to your micro four thirds with an adapter might be a bad idea!

You can find the Pixco speed booster right here:

When it becomes apparent! 😉🙃🤣

What kind of vintage lenses are you using? Help me find some new wide ones!

just a note: focus peaking isn't unsupported by any lens, it relies on contrast detection so as long as your lens has some form of contrast focus peaking will appear... i get focus peaking even when freelensing which helped me nail focus on really long focal length mirror lenses that have really short focus throws

Offtopic, if you had extra money, what camera would you buy for youtube? I'm thinking of buying canon 90d+sigma 18-35mm f1.8. Yea 2k is huge money for me, but dunno if its worth to spend like 1k for something cheaper and dont get results you want 🤷‍♂️

I am a hard head who learns by experience so all of this would sound like gibberish to a newbie like me and after having bought an adapter already and learning from first hand experience of the crappy crop factor NOW I understand every word you say is true and personally I'd rather buy a fast prime native MFT lens than a speedbooster cause I dont currently own a vintage m42 lens worth the cost of speedbooster

Thanks for the useful info...I'm just getting into photo and video....mostly for my music studio and wanting to start trying a little bit of youtube filming... I have a Lumix G7 with the 14-42mm lens & also the 25mm lens and just got a Helios 44M-6...Don't know what I'm doing but it's fun.
