Is the Segway ZT3 Pro Worth It?

-Top speed of 25 mph (this is US only) Other regions may have different speeds.
-Regarding acceleration, there's a Boost Mode. Hold the right brake lever three seconds to activate; sort of a "launch mode" that improves acceleration, but it is temporary.

I had a problem with Bluetooth today. It stopped connecting and I tried everything in the owners manual to fix it. I uninstall the app and reinstalled it, but still no luck. I went to the front screen of the app and hit the Bluetooth icon. It then told me I could pair to Bluetooth. But I only connected to the model number. I went to turn on the airlock feature and it said I still had to reconnect to Bluetooth. I went back to Bluetooth on my phone and there was a second connection that said Segway. Everything worked now. But the really strange part is that Econo mode goes to 9 miles an hour. Drive mode goes to 25 miles an hour. And sport mode now goes to 40 miles an hour. I couldn’t believe the speed. I don’t know what I did but my ZT3 now has a top speed of 40. Guess I got lucky maybe got a ZT3 from Europe on Amazon.

Hi. I keep hearing different speeds for the ZT3 Pro. One site or page tells viewers that it is a 25 KMph and others like yours, it states the maximum speed is 25mph. Which is it pleases

It is a great looking scooter at a reasonable price, at least in US dollars. I haven't seen the Canadian pricing as yet and hopefully it will be somewhat competitive with similar products. I like that it is a good road commuter scooter with a nice touch of "off-road" capability built-in. The build quality looks quite good and I like the fact that it is a brand name product that hopefully will provide solid service and spare parts availability. The only item on my wish list at this point in time would be for a removable battery. Being able to purchase a second battery to extend the range would be a nice option, and here in Canada I wouldn't be using the scooter in winter months so it would be nice to be able to store the scooter in my garage and to keep the battery in my house. Also, a removable battery would be nice when loading the scooter into a vehicle as I could load the battery separately from the scooter. Overall, a very nice looking product.

I had mine for 4 months, loved it but wish the battery life was longer, pretty big for a small battery life and today I was riding and turned it off so I could go in a store and when I came out and turned it back on the back wheel sounded like it had plastic stuck in it, and after walking 1 block with it the wheel got stuck which was super inconvenient, I think it’s a motor issue (which is in the back wheel if I’m not wrong ) so it’s kind of annoying that after only 4 months I’m dealing with a issue like this, other then that I super enjoyed the scooter

Thanks for the video! Helps a lot. Do you think there is a possibility to adjust the serial number? I live in the EU and here the e-steps are only allowed to go 15.5 mp/h. If the serial number had to be adjusted, I would order directly on🙂

I like the aesthetics but It sounds like it needs a new rear shock right away. Is that a standard length (ie: 165 or 125mm) so I can just buy a KS EXA Form or DNM air can and replace the lame stock spring shock?

I lost my left hand a few years ago how would it be just riding with the right do you think?...I bought a 2 wheel segway but have lost my balance a couple of times I am perhaps getting a bit old now and will give it away.

I want to upgrade...trying to decide should I buy one of these and forward my Max G2 to a family member? Or, should I keep my Max G2 and keep scooting? I do not off-road ride, mainly I ride on sidewalks, in bike lanes, on trails, to the store, around the neighborhood. I have a car so this is not my main transportation.
Concerns...
1. ZT3 is heavier than G2, even though I have never traveled with G2 in a car. Garage stored, so I never lift it.
2. battery life...ZT3 is heavier than G2 so will that consume more of the ZT3 battery because of weight?
3. can you really feel the 3 mph faster speed of the ZT3?
4. is the 3º difference in hill climb slope really all that different?

sometimes I wonder if segway is a good brand anymore, amazon lists lot of theirs as frequent returned item, as thats not good thing, lot of scooters on amazon are like that, Hard to find a actual good quality one. They look nice when youtubers review them, but i wonder in the long run to a year of use.
