PASSING TIPS

1) *whichever direction you plan to move look at that rear mirror* if you plan to move the steering wheel left then look at the left mirror even if it’s a slight move.

2) *don’t try to please the examiner by doing something you normally wouldn’t do* do what you think is correct

3) *don’t worry if you think you made a mistake* you can make 15 minor mistakes and still pass!

4) *don’t rush* when you’re joining a main road wait for a safe gap even if it takes 1 minute! You won’t get a fault just because you waited for a long time.

5) if you stall the car it’s okay. Just start it again and continue 🤷🏻‍♂️ not a problem at all.


6) *when the examiner asks you to park on the left/right, don’t try to get too close to the kerb as the maximum accepted distance from the kerb is 50cm!

7) *slow down when approaching zebra crossings* and make sure it’s clear before you drive through. All pedestrians *Must* have crossed fully before you can continue so be patient.

8) *don’t play the “no stopping game”*

Don't listen to this advice. Tried this on my test came to a red light and turned on to the pavement almost hitting a pedestrian.

So if you go say 80mph throughout the city it's okay as long as you don't stop anywhere? Whoa, I'll remember that for my tomorrow's driving test.
