Irish Terrier:

Irish terriers came from Ireland’s Emerald Isle where they became the ultimate farmer’s friend.
As with many terriers, they are likely descended from the old, now extinct black and tan terrier.
Irish’s loyalty and tenacity meant that they were selected to deliver messages, act as sentinels, and rid camps of vermin during World War 1.
They were unflinching ratters, loyal watchdogs, guardians of livestock, and even hunting companions.
Old Irish manuscripts stated that the Irish was the Poor man’s sentinel, the farmer’s friend, and the gentleman’s favorite.
Their coarse, wiry coat helped to keep them warm in the Irish countryside that plays host to some harsh weather conditions.
In the late 19th century their popularity began to grow and the first Irish terriers were imported to the U.S.
They received official recognition from the American Kennel Club in 1885.

They are so keen to make you happy that they never need more than you refusing to make eye contact to discipline them. Easiest dogs to train, therefore.
We bred them and found that the father involves himself with the puppies, guarding and guiding them. This is unique in the dog world.
There is just no other dog like them for character and love.

I've put my terrier puppy under trainer supervision but he has a problem with authority , he's a 6month old rose terrier and an amazing companion but it's ganna be a pain in the ass to champion him due to his temperament and obedience . This dog is an amazing breed and If it's for a home pet you'll be fine ❤ but it will take a while to bring a puppy up to show standards
