Wow, she was kind of slow on the floor. She doesn’t have much stage presence either. That’s crazy considering who her sister is!!! It’s very interesting how siblings can be so drastically different!
This first dance was quite promising though. I think JL has potential overall.

Regardless of how some of you might feel about JamieLynn, we gotta give her props for doing her best despite knowing that practically the whole world hates her. Y’all can have your opinions but let’s not forget…..DWTS is a positive place, it’s a safe place for them. Leave your rude comments somewhere else. JamieLynn doing the show has nothing to do with Brittney, this is something that the producers asked her to do because of her own show, and she most likely wanted to challenge herself. You all can hate or love her all you want, but just remember….regardless of the media, she’s still a human being and she’s also someone’s mother. I’m not the biggest fan of her either but, at least I have enough maturity and respect for myself to not come on here and leave nasty comments.

I love how Jamie Lynn doesn't even use her married name. Has to keep Spears to maintain she's the sister of an iconic performer. Clearly the performing is not in her blood.

I am surprised at how nice everyone is here. That was a train wreck. She had the wrong dress for dancing, the wrong bra for that dress and that was just to start. Mauricio Umansky had more moves and he could be her grandpa. Maybe they can give her something more current and she will improve but right here it looks like another Paula Dean performance where the pro was just dragging the person through the dance and propping them up.

I don't know what to think about Jamie Lynn Spears. I feel she should've been there for Britney when Britney needed her the most. Britney is the reason she got that role on that trash show Zoey 101 which nobody watched. It didn't have the same impact as Lizzie McGuire and Hannah Montana. I just think this is a cash out for her to be relevant which she hasn't been for many years. Britney's book is coming out and she wants to keep her image as clean as possible. People were calling for her to be removed from Sweet Magnolias because of how she treated Britney. 54, 000 views is not something to be proud of ma. Also, her segment was the lowest rated segment of the show.

After hearing people raging about this I expected a train wreck. She was a little stiff and nervous but I thought she did a solid first dance. Good for her! I think the whole situation with the Spears family is very tragic. Families are messy and I would say both Brittney and Jamie have said and done hurtful things. Regardless it doesn't help Brittney in any way to attack Jamie. I don't understand this mentality of going after people and trying to destroy them. Have a little empathy. It is not our business and I wish the best for both of them. And I honestly do not see how dancing ballroom is disrespectful to Brittney. Brittney does not own dancing, she had some iconic moves and kudos to her.... but her sis has the right to explore dance too.

It was Ok. I think Alan can shape & knit & tuck his partners a little bit more. Some of those turns were meh and the gliding could've been better
