I don't think the music was better than Lion King, but I actually really, really like the Pocahontas music. Just Around the Riverbend is excellent and I like the mining song haha Didn't Hunchback, Mulan, and Hercules come out after Pocahontas? Those are pretty good...

Just to add on to everyone's thoughts, Spencer asked why Disney eventually stopped making traditionally animated films. The answer? Shrek. Shrek did it. It was so phenomenally successful, it changed the model of American animated movies almost overnight. Combined with the CG animation pipeline becoming cheaper, kids' movies have just never been the same since. That's why not just Disney, but basically all the major studios don't really make many 2d kids' films anymore.

Riverbend is the one song I remember from never having seen Pocahontas.

I haven't seen most of the "bad" movies from the grid, but Bolt is a perfectly fine movie.

Disney’s Pocahontas was a mixed bag because it has beautiful animation and good voice acting but it completely take liberty with historical accuracy and events.

I hate to be that guy, Spencer, but Disney never stopped making animated features. With the exception of 2006, they had at least one in the theater every year from 1994-2014. I get what you're saying though. They did change their strategy pretty soon after acquiring Pixar.

Also, only half of the songs from Aladdin had lyrics by Howard Ashman (Arabian Nights, Friend Like Me and Prince Ali), while the others had lyrics by Tim Rice (who also did the lyrics for The Lion King with Elton John)...

Could you please do honest trailer for the rescuers and rescuers down under. The Rescuers movies really get skipped over in the canon and you've almost completed honest trailers for all the renaissance films except rescuers down under.
