They say that english is hard, but they don't know how portuguese is a HELL to lurn. There's a LOT of unecessary synonymous words in That language that BURN your neurons just for understand which word is which (all this coming from a Brazilian)
An example:
English: have, has, having, had.
Portuguese: tem, tens, temos, tenhamos, tinha, tínhamos, teremos, tereis, terá, têm, terás, terei, tinhas, etc.

"English is so hard"... Every person who thinks English is difficult should try Icelandic 😅. I tell my students that every language can be learned and that they can learn Icelandic. I also tell them that difficulty is relative and prefer to speak in terms of complexity, which doesn't negate there'll be plenty to learn but each thing doesn't have to be difficult.

It´s not hard, it takes time, plenty of hours to dominate the language, about 5000 hours to get perfectly fluent

learning English for Asians, is the same as Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, … for Americans. except the language is a little easier

English Is Very Easy.. But the teaching of English in the schools is wrong and the books of learning English make it us hard to learn these language.. Sorry we are the human beings in these areas of middle East not thinking about English or the good way to learn English.. we are only thinking about food musics and smoking and dancing.. etc.
