Indulge in the Deliciousness of Stuffed Baked Apples Recipe

Baked stuffed apples are like your own individual apple crisp. This is a perfect recipe to bake a head, freeze and enjoy when you want.
These take around 40-45 minutes to bake and are easy to pull together.
Bake stuffed apples with your favorite baking apples. We've used granny smith in the video, but we also use gala and fuji. You can use your favorite baking apples.

Ingredients
1/4 cup oats
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup soft butter
4 large baking apples (granny smith, gala, fuji)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375F.
To prepare topping, mix the ingredients in a bowl.
Using a knife, cut off the top of the apple, about 1/4 slice off.
Then cut out core down to about ½ inch from apple bottom. (this worked well using a spoon) If your apples don't stand up, remove a thin slice from bottom of apple to flatten the bottom, so it stands up.
Pack the apples to the top, with a little rounding outside of the apple.
Repeat with remaining apples, and arrange in a 8x8 pan.
Bake the apples for 35-40 minutes, or until apples are fork tender.
