1st Clive Barker ive ever read. Just finished it last night. Wow! Awesome book that held my attention from page 1. Just ordered Weaveworld since i read a lot of good reviews on it. Think i found a new author.

today i took my mom to a local barnes and nobles for mother's day and told her that she can pick any book from anywhere around the store and ill get her it. i also picked up a stephen king book from there that was a hardcover and was for sale for 40 bucks, but i nabbed it for 10. i guess there was a promo for it? i dont know. anyways, i looked online and saw that amazon had the best price listing for the hellbound heart and the scarlet gospels so a couple hours ago i had ordered this book, the scarlet gospels, and doctor sleep. i just wish this book had a hardcover for it. ill bring it to my work so i can read it though!

This is a very thought provoking book. I remember not being impressed Hellraiser movie .
I read the book bc I heard from a friend it was much better. I agreed. I read it at maybe 25 yo. I reread it this week age 49 and it hit different . Way more disturbing this time.
I’ll be sure to re read at 70 if I live that long.
