Sydney experiences the ‘return of the Karens’

The city saw the “return of the Karens” as large numbers of Sydneysiders took advantage of the good weather to exercise outside on Saturday, says Sky News host James Morrow.

“It’s been a picnic, but it’s also been the revenge of the Karens, or the return of the Karens this weekend,” he said.

“It’s a beautiful mid-winter weekend here in Sydney. We’ve had some terrible, really crummy weather all week.

"People have been out doing their essential exercise and of course everybody has been losing their minds.

“I would say that probably if mine, and I imagine a lot of other viewers experiences are similar, every community Facebook page in the city is full of people going out and about shaming people for going out and about.

"It’s really funny.”
