This dad is the size of my grandfather. He was a diesel mechanic most of his life. He could snap your hand into pieces when he shook your hand if he wanted to. His forearm alone was bigger than my thigh. Super human strength.

My grandfathers extended "family" were all men of this caliber. Stronger than oxen, yet so gentle and understanding with the young ones. It was something to be around all of them, even in their later primes.

That generation is just built different, i dont know if it was the hard work, the diet, genetics, ect...but they were different. When i was a teenager back in '89 or '90 i had been working out all year and finally was able to max 250 on the bench so i proudly showed my grandfather what i could do, he proceeded to add 65 more pounds and do ten reps at 58 or 59 years old. All of his World War 2 buddies were just as strong.
