I love this, not only as a reverse homage to how he was defeated in BotW, but this leaves the book much more open than before for his potential return (again) should a third sequel ever be made (not that that would even happen, TotK doesn't leave much room for further improvements).

Master Kohga is honestly my favorite character in this game LOL Also, I love how he fell down a hole in the first game, and in this game, you send him back out.

When you go to the yiga hideout front entrance and talk to the guy in the middle, where the shops are, he even talks about how Kohga is no longer with them, but he will live forever lol
