Solution:
Dimensions of the cuboidal solid metallic block are 
15 cm× 10 cm ×5 cm

Radius of the hole =7/2 cm
Height of the cylinder =5 cm
Length of the block l=15 cm
Breadth of the block b=10 cm
Height of the block h=5 cm

Therefore,
Surface area of the block =2(lb+bh+hl)
=2(15×10+10×5+5×15)
=2(150+50+75)
=2×275
=550 cm²

Area of circular holes on both sides of the cylinder =2×πr²
=2×227×(72)2
=77 cm²

Surface area of the cylindrical hole =2πrh
=2×227×72×5
=110 cm²

Therefore,
Surface area of the remaining block
=550−77+110
=660−77
=583 cm²

The surface area of the remaining block is 583 cm2

For those who are unable to tackle question 4th here's the answer:-

We are provided with the information that a cylindrical figure is scooped from the cuboid, and we have to find the surface area of *remaining* solid

First we have to add all the sides of cuboid that is total surface area of cuboid then subtract 2×area of 1 circle from it ( because from the upper and lower surface of cuboid the circular portion of cylinder is scooped out so both the base will have circular holes in it so the area of both the circles will be subtracted from total surface area of cuboid) then we have to add curved surface area of cylinder (since we can touch the lateral surface of cylinder that is scooped out of cuboid )

So the derived formula is :-
2(lb+bh+hl)-2πr(r-h) [ taking 2 and (-) common] and the answer is 583

Sir, there is a mistake in PRACTICE PROBLEM-4 (at 25:20 time). That [TSA of Cuboid + CSA of Cylinder] - [2πr²] Since the area of 2 circles is removed from the surface of the cuboid .
