People can hate all they want on Macs but I love my mac to death. Its one of those times where once you go Mac you'd never wanna go back to PC.

Mavericks is a surfing location in Northern California, USA. It is located approximately 2 miles (3.2 km) from shore outside Pillar Point Harbor, just north of the town of Half Moon Bay at the village of Princeton-By-The-Sea.
Thats pretty much where their inspiration came from.

The key word people are looking for in an update is 'features'. Not adding too much, nor taking away, or changing what was already perfect.

A lot of these features are actually what I have been wanting for Apple, and very happy they have done so.

people have been enthusiastic about apple products for awhile now. nothing wrong with that. it's hard to keep customers excited about products in any industry. apple does it exceptionally well and other technology companies should follow suit

You're wrong, cmd+x is only for text.
If you want to cut files, you first copy them with cmd+c and then cut-paste them with alt+cmd+v.
This actually makes more sense because it lets you decide whether you want to keep the original before you paste instead of before you cut like in Windows.

Dual screen mission control looks pretty cool.

Two of the main things here is they brought Maps and iBooks from the iPad over to the Mac. Well, that's not inventing something new. That's just taking it from the tablet and putting it on the PC. Another main thing is multiple displays. Well, that's just responding to customer requests. I don't see them inventing a whole new thing or new idea. So you can tag things now. Wow. So innovative. These things are really more like minor upgrades to Mountain Lion.

It's cool, we've installed it our older MacBook Pro (late 2009) - the only problem so far seems the be the volume. You can't adjust it and there is no workaround at this moment.

Actually just hold down the option key when pasting (option-command-v) and it will move the item instead of just copying. This feature was added years ago - sometime around Snow Leopard or Lion, I think, but most people don't know about it.

Yeah i was just thinking that, I use Total Finder too. I wonder if this will have Total Finder's feature.

Not for files and folders. You gotta copy with C then paste with Ctrl+Shift+V which moves the file similar to cut.

Actually I like Macs way better. And these updates are actually really exciting updates. I've been wanting iBooks on the Mac, and I've been wanting Apple Maps on the Mac. I also do projection at my church and am looking forward to using the multiple monitors feature. I'm just saying that those things kind of seem like side dishes to a new operating system, not the main meal. That's all.

That's an amazing idea! You take the first thing you see and use it as an OS name. My new OS is called OS X Sidewalk. LOL

"Now you can use Finder with tabs!" Right, TotalFinder has been doing that for years.

Funny thing about the tabs, will be this will help a lot. but it does seem like an update, but will be extremely helpful

There's a program called Total Finder that will add tabs now if you can't wait. That's what I've been using.
