6 Hidden Gems of Orange County, CA!

Orange County is so much more than it's stereotypes. Come along with us as we explore some of the lesser known sites in our hometown. We visit the Noguchi Garden, hike up to Robber's Roost, take the Balboa Ferry, check out Pirate Tower on the beach, see the Frida Theater and walk through some So Cal redwoods at Carbon Canyon Park.

Never heard of the redwoods in Carbon canyon. That spot was devinitely on my to-do list, but even more so now. Very cool.

Had to move out of OC in 2019, grew up in Newport, lived in Mission Viejo and Irvine...Been to some of the exact same spots you mentioned, except the theater, but that was 5 years before I left and we had moved 8 times in 7 years before we left in 2019--got priced out. It was great times. Maybe I'll be back? I was born in East LA, got adopted and lived in LA, then Minneapolis, by the 1st grade ended up in a condo in Newport until college, which put me on 42nd St. on the peninsula, of course...then to Newport Heights (renting after getting married), bought a house in Mission Viejo, in the early 90's, split it in a divorce (in 2011...made money--that went to the attorney), then lived in office...see where this is headed? LOL!...met someone, got married again...hung on renting everywhere--in 2017, had decent deal on a condo next to CDM high school--3 minutes from work...looking good....ran out of money...WHAMMO! Ended up in North Carolina--where the trees look like Carbon Canyon. Go figure. Cool simple style to your videos--doesn't look like you're trying so hard--seems sincere. I know it's hard work...I was putting video on the internet in 1998--when no one could watch it...I was too far ahead of the curve...then sort of changed directions always wanting to do it again--and wow--very different now. Having grown up in San Gabriel valley I know little beyond the obvious. Moved to East Anaheim last month so very excited to see posts like yours. I did know and have visited the Redwoods because I am such a huge fan of redwoods so sought them out. Thrilled to learn there is a film art house in the area.
