Unbelievable win!! I used to work in gaming and I can explain as to why they added money to the jackpot. In your case $60, 000. There was most likely a different machine that the casino wants to take out or remove. Because the game has a progressive jackpot, gaming regulators require that the amount on one machine gets moved to another. This is to prevent the casino from purposely removing a game when a progressive gets too high. If the casino doesn’t want to put the money from one machine on another, then they have to make that money available as prizes such as a cash drawing, etc. The casino simply cannot keep the money without allocating it to another game or contest.
