This song hits so close to home. I had a best friend from elementary school that's been growing distant, but last February we were inseparable. At least I thought we were. We had movie dates every weekend all month, went climbing together, and despite my hatred for it, did a little bit of PDA. Then my favorite person ghosted me and avoided me like the plague, and is now a completely different person. I miss snuggling, teasing each other for being picky, or encouraging each other to not be so self conscious. God it's been a year and I'm still hurting. They were my ray of sun in my sad clouds, they would be singing the song to me if they cared as much as I do. As I did. Heard the song live this summer and almost cried. Thanks for reading my long spiel, just wanted to share because I needed to get it off my chest I guess. Love the lyric video!

dude from a kid who's suffering from depression this song is absolutely amazing. This describes my life there are people that are trying to help me but they don't knew how to approach the issue correctly and they don't know if they are building me up or tearing me down more. This song tho makes me feel like my soul is a giant ray of sunshine and I'm not kidding if I listen to this song it makes me fell happy all day. And the past few days I've been very happy because I have found this song dude u may have just cured me depression no fucking joke. Currently trying to help one of my friends with depression, and this song is just so accurate. I tried my best, and sometimes my best is just talking about if the moon was made of cheese. There are a lot of ways to help a struggling friend, but sometimes... sometimes they’re just too good at being sad.
