I'm surprised nobody has really complained about the way AI spawns on top of you as soon as you peek into a crate to check for loot.
God help you if you're in an open area, since they seem to spawn in ten feet away and immediately gun you down for touching a duffle bag.

Better and harder AI would be fine. But being shot through 9 bushes when you cant see them is my issue. More tactical would be better.

Easy fix: easy mode gets reduced loot insane difficulty: gets buffed loot

There should be a limited spawn rate, you kill one (scav or pmc) it spawns 10 more. On top of that if I'm in dome I shouldn't get 4 blacked limbs by a pp smg from k buildings

Hot take but i kinda liked the empty maps it was eerie as hell, i can see why spt has so many horror mods revolving around cultist on an empty map you can hear the dogs on customs barking or the cranes creaking under the pressure of their massive steel frames left to rot obviously it couldnt stay forever but while it lasted it gave me a much welcomed change of pace for my raids, for a few days i didnt have to slog through 5 stacks & 45 scavs i could just task and soak in the atmosphere and environmental storytelling bsg has obviously spent a ton of time in

I put AI on low and gained 80fps. So I think they should add this as a PVE setting. They could add a difficulty scale for loot, easy=25% loot, normal=50% loot, hard=75% loot. But in the end it seems stupid to argue about all this when they already comfirmed mod support later.

It's tiresome getting swarmed by scavs tbh. Especially on Streets! The game has turned into a zombie shooter of late tbh.

RIP Horde mode tagged and cursed on factory.. it was a bloodbath... and it will be missed.

What make the AI a lot more realistic is the ability for the PMCs and Bosses to run out of ammo and conserve ammo so they have sense of can I hit the target I'm shooting at if not don't shoot if so fire a few rounds and also make their recoil comparable to the players instead of basically have no recoil what so ever

Head jaws simulator is on from 5-6 bush away nothing changed, 3 pmc’s spawned next to me in dorms after I killed 2 in front of me, is not realistic in my opinion…

If they have a difficulty option the loot should be nerfed or buffed based on the difficulty

Got to love insomnia but I do agree with him on the if you change the ai amount or settings you shouldn’t be able to sell on flee. Let us keep that setting. Pve is the blue collar man’s tarkov

Like out of anything that could have stayed, or been fixed faster... The QOL exploits are fixed first. The gym was a godsend, and it should stay the way it was, and the changing AI amount was fun for getting annoying lighthouse quests done. Plus, I'm absolutely drenched in Labs keycards, so whats the point of fixing that bug? At 6.0 fence rep, practically every other run has a keycard. But the community bitching constantly on the eft subreddit did their job I guess. Getting rid of the fun was their MO

I'll be the first to admit that I abused the no AI bug. However, I did it to run tasks on shoreline because I absolutely despise playing on shoreline and legit only did the task and then dipped out. Only things I would loot was food in raid to get energy and hydration back up and then dipped out. I would be completely fine with having a setting to balance loot in a way that if you have no AI, then the only thing that spawns is food and that food is unable to leave raid with you. The only benefit that you get from that is that you can do fetch quests that only have items that spawn specifically with that quest and you could do placement quests easier.

Military power filters are 22 mil on flea...

And so we sacrifice genuinely good quality of life for the sake of a competitive flea market... in PvE. Meanwhile, the AI are still fundamentally broken and their behavior is still horrifically inconsistent. This on top of spawns that actively escalate the moment you engage even one scav or 'pmc'.

We're just not going to address that five stacks of PMCs can roam freely, gun down scavs in front of other scavs and even scav bosses with impunity, and have their run of the rogues' base without any issue, while the player's experience remains something akin to black hawk down.

I dunno what to say. Kindof bad comedy at this point.

I had a blast with the bugs, I racked in so much money but I'm wondering why remove the ai amount feature? Isn't the whole point of pve to enjoy it your way regardless of how you play.

The change you suggested about not being able to sell on flea if you modify game settings, doesnt really matter if you spam labs, because its just valuables that sell for the same amount to traders. would be too easy

The flea even being available in PVE mode is kind of weird to me. Like, if PVE mode never wipes... aren't all the items in the game doomed to crash? Like, why would items remain thousands of rubes if nearly everyone playing already has a maxed hideout?

I find the AI discussion interesting. I see clips of people with AI just standing there, but for me the AI always seems to destroy me before I can even see them (think Birdeye but apply it to PMCs/Rogues). So when I hear people saying "Make it harder" I am thinking "WTF, how much harder can it get!".
