Part 2 Staining a deck with Behr Premium Solid Stain Waterproofing Stain & Sealant

Update video. 8 months old. Deck is peeling where I failed to sand all the old deck stain off. Little spots here and there. We have had rain for 130 out of 240 days since the Behr product was applied. 2 snows.

My Behr semi transparent wood stain performed horribly on my fence. It flakes off really bad where the sun beats down. Im in San Diego, CA where the weather is nearly perfect all the time. Behr sucks. I dont care what Consumer Reports says. Its still in the warranty period, so I contacted Behr and they offered to send me a new 5 gallon of their horrible paint. How about paying for my labor too!??

power wash low pressure, and i would a high quality commercial grade product, That brand in my view is not very good... just an opinion is all.

How on earth do you clean a solid stain? My dog walked across the deck and left muddy footprints everywhere! I've tried scrubbing with soap and water and rinsed with a hose several times and it didn't work. Indeed it left white streaks everywhere. Can someone please help?
