First Look at my INSANE Turbo K24 BMW E30 | Combining Honda & BMW....

Well.... this is something Im sure none of you expected to see on the channel, and I myself never even expected to see something like this either.. but when the opportunity presents itself to bring home a unique car I will jump on it! And with that I introduce my new to me K24 Turbo swapped E30 325is. A total sleeper on the outside, but a 500HP Turbo charged JDM beast lies beneath the hood. Let's check it out!

K24 FOR ME IS THE BEST 4 CYL ever. Reliable, available, huge aftermarket, good mpg. This could be in so many cars.

The k24a2 no turbo is basically the closest thing you can get to the m3 motor.. think you gain 30 hp on the Honda too! Fun looking ride tho!

r888r is an excellent cold weather tire. If you need a tire to stick right out of the driveway in freezing temps, r888r is the way to go. as long as you don't need hydroplaning resistance or to drive in actual snow.
also a k24 does *not* weigh 413 lb. I know thats what google AI thing says when you google it, but thats pulled from a motortrend article that includes this disclaimer:

without the tranmission and axles and etc, its in the 275-300 range depending on accessories. hard to get an exact number cause people always weigh with different stuff included

I have decided for sure that when I finally get to my E30, I want an NA k24 with a particular k20 head, and maybe an S2000 gearbox.

I should've k swapped my e34. Did a lot of work to it, had a m20b27 bottom end from a 325e with the b25 head from the e34, 5spd swap from a 325is which took months to get the output flange and other bullshit parts from Germany. The car was beautiful and ran great, but was an electrical nightmare which was why i ended up selling it. Should've kept it. Eager to see more from your e30 when weather permits!

Interesting setup with K24. I know someone with SR20 in a E30 however I haven’t seen it running.
