Mike makes the best Arkham Horror CG playthroughs on youtube! Wish you do more of these.

I really like the style of your playthrough because it was easy to see what was happening. AH LCG playthroughs can be hard to follow sometimes. Nice work!

Will watch after I play through it myself.

Just wanted to give you props for covering a great game!

I played it yesterday as an integrated scenario while playing the Circle Undone Campaign.
Playing this between scenario 4 and 5 (so exactly halfway through the campaign) fits quite well within the story arch.

Playing the circle undone with the aim to be as loyal as possible to the Silver Twilight Lodge, it was obvious which faction to pick as allied faction.

IF you play that scenario not trying to rush through but taking time until the very last round, to me that feels like one of the scenarios with the highest variety out there.
The reason is that about the first third of the full length is quite samey (except for different guests), while with agenda 2 it gets really different each time, doing completely different things to fulfil your main goal.

With the purple faction it was awesome trying to get through the mythos deck in order to find the jewel while at the same time needing a lot of clues.

It's also really thematic, how the different factions make the approach different, both your allied and your rival faction.

With Charlie Kane as my lead investigator, I never ever had so many ally assets in play.
He allows 4 slots + Carl Sandford as head of the faction + 2 or 3 other guest allies.
And the abilities of the guest allies interact well with their main objective.

They could have even made it more variable by making different enemies that get shuffled into the mythos deck.
E.g. the Mafia arriving when you play green or witches+ghosts arriving when you play purple.

I finished that scenario with gaining 7 XP and a guest ally and the juwel to be shuffled into the mythos deck.
Having paid 2 XP to play it makes for 5 XP net.
That is much more than I would have expected.

It was awesome to have 3 to 4 different objectives and you need to check if you can do them all or if you need to focus. This is something you hardly ever have in other scenarios. The point system adds to that.

The only thing besides the first third probably feeling samey, is that the Lantern Guy is extremly nasty. I managed to prevent him from "deactivating" any guests but I had to concentrate all my efford on that guy.
Also, the two cult tokens in my chaos back were really nasty because they often lead to getting a -5 (-1 per guest asset at the location).
Another small nitpick is that the locations dont add a lot to the story while I totally forgot to check the Lantern Room.
But I think I used the location action at least 4 times, where I can add two clues and get two ressources.

Overall, a great scenario.
I wouldnt recommend anybody to skip it.

Thanks for the video! This is one standalone that I'm probably skipping so it's neat to be able to see the playthrough.
