The UI generally feels faster. But they still need to revert to the haptic that was in the previous update. They feel cheaper and less precise.

I agree about battery life, Significantly improved with the last March 25 update.
I just got the 9.8 Google camera update, but haven't had a chance to test it yet, it's available in the play store for me so hopefully you will get it soon and declare your findings

let me tell you Emad. i used to change phones every 6 months. however. the pixel 9 xl is the closest to iphone andriod experience someone will get. i also snapped few shots for burj khalifa today and it was phenomenal. i got myself a 1tb version of the XL and im good for years to come.

I haven't noticed any battery upgrades yet. I have 29 percent battery life with 5hr 15 min screen on time. But my Pixel 9 Pro XL did seem faster as far as animations go. Great video as always.

I see some noticeable improvements on the camera, it doesnt make the photos look dull or washed out like it used to in past versions i installed the latest 9.8 version on my pixel 6 and its so much better now

My Pixel 8 has become smoother but the battery life has taken a hit. It's slightly worse now compared to the already bad battery life before.

I love 6.1 kernel on my 6A, I was using custom roms just because they packed the kernel from 9 series early and just switched back to stock after they finally bought the kernel update and my first experience was that it booted even without showing the loading bar at the boot logo.... The the device was much cooler than ever even on mobile data.

Battery life improved by a lot even tho my signal reception and networks are kinda worse... I just had a dayy with almost 6hrs of SOT with just 80% capped battery.

I am using the device at 1.7x animation scale just because I like the Pixel animations and can confidently say this update made a big improvement on that side as well...

That being said, especially among the 6 series I've seen a lot of complains about battery limit and adaptive charging features being broken...

I hadn't thought about it much until this video, but I totally agree with the battery life improvements. My casual use and overnight standby appear to be improved.

Also so happy to hear that Google reached out regarding the camera issues, and that they are likely resolved now. Big win for us all, thank you for your due diligence.
