Love the banking jargon generator, I think Michael Gove used something similar for his green strategy document a year or two ago. the whole document read something like Lorem ipsum text....actually maybe it's just the way he speaks.

Great video, but a quick question: what exactly does moving your money out of a bank that invests in fossil fuels do to that bank? I was under the impression that money was created, without a reserve ratio, whenever an individual or corporation takes out a loan. Why would moving your money out affect their ability to create and lend money to dodgy corporations?

The trouble with Sharkleys, like their name sake, if they stop swimming they sink. I boycotted sharkleys back in the 1990's and have kept them on the blacklist ever since and now joined by most high street banks. What is it £850 billion in invested in subsidy sharks, sorry fossil fuel companies since the signing of the Paris agreement.
These companies will not listen to appeals to change, the only answer is to close accounts and invest in green paint.

The science brought up in this comment section is confusing to me. The earth is in a decaying orbit with the sun so stopping “global warming” would inevitably come down to darkening the skies. The sun is also in a strange cycle right now. This certainly effects cell service and to an extent the weather. The factors involved are insanely difficult to calculate. It’s simply impossible for us to account all of the different variables. Extinction however is absolutely inevitable. I just hope we lean to act honorably along the way. To me this is all that matters. The only control we have is how we treat one another. Take care.
