About me:
My name's Paige and I am in my second year studying Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge. I am a member of Jesus College and make regular vlogs of my day to day life at uni, including lectures, supervisions, and social activities.

As right now, I’m studying because I don’t want to let my parents down because they have worked so hard do me to get a good education. Although they don’t put pressure on me to study, I just want to be settled in the future and I don’t want them to be worried about me anymore. I want to repay them for the things that they have done for me, In my opinion, if I can take care of my self well, be settled in the future and not having my parents worry about me is the least I can do since even though they don’t say it, I know they worry about me. This is what motivates me to study :) (at least for now)

Reading through the comment section and watching your video right before, makes me insanely happy. We can all motivate each other just by sharing ideas and being optimistic. I can agree with a lot you said in the video, like making an impact or wanting to be the best at everything. Those seem to be one of my reason to study as well. Besides I often think about how privileged I am to go to school and receive knowledge. I think a lot of people have read the quote "Knowledge is power and nobody can take it away from you" before, but it never gets old because it's so incredibly true and absolutely worth all the hard work..

For me, I want to prove my old self wrong. And even though it's flawed, I want to prove anyone who said I couldn't do ___ wrong. It gives me tremendous validation to be able to say "Look what I can do! Look what I did!"
