As a crocheter who started 8 months ago, i still suck at crocheting stuff like this. But i need a new lunch bag for school and i found a pixel grid that seems easy.. so yea. Send me luck 😃

Edit:I quit anyways- bought a new lunch bag and now I just have to decorate it lol

Note to new crocheters: this isn't the only way to do this. If you're looking to have both sides be good, use the bobbin method . Essentially this is where you attach a new skein/cake of color on eahc "section" that way you don't have to "float" your yarn. You'll end up with multiple balls of one color while doing so. You could also if you want to do the bobbin method but instead of attaching a new bobbin, you cut the end of the skein off and continue using the same skein but this way means more ends to sew in when you're done

I don't have enough different colors of yarn yet to make interesting patterns but once I do, I'll definitely use that video. It was a great and cute tutorial, so thank you!! 💜

If you use a cross-stich pattern, it will already be marked out in 10x10 blocks eliminating the need to do so much counting. Cross-stich patterns are easily available in books that you can put a metal sheet behind and use magnet strips to keep track of your rows. I've been doing this for decades.

I believe if you are left handed it’s the same thing but backwards. So instead of your row one going from right to left, it’d go from left to right. Your rows would basically be reversed, your odds would go left to right, your evens would go right to left. That’s just how I did it and it worked for me, do whatever feels comfortable for you!

This is awesome! You do such a good job explaining and going slow enough that I don’t have to change the speed back and forth to alternate watching what you’re doing in slo-no and listening to what you’re in real time! I am so excited to get started! Thanks for accommodating us beginners!

This is easy to follow.
This is the first video I’ve ever watched on your channel, I just discovered it and I’ve immediately subscribed. Your voice is so soft which also helps. But more than anything, you describe things so well!!! I feel like I won’t need to look at any other YouTube channel after finding yours. You could definitely be a teacher as a career or something along those lines…

If you don’t want to always weave in ends, but also don’t want your back to look, well. Like that. I suggest you try tapestry crochet techniques like I learned, where instead of dropping the yarn completely, you crochet over the unused color in the back. I’ve done this a lot, and while the extra color may peak through the front, and the back may still look a little messy, it’s neater! You can also just cut and weave in! God bless!
