Nikon ZF Back Button Focus and how to set it up.

How to setup Back Button Focus on the Nikon ZF in a few minutes and why this was one of the first things I set on this camera.
Back Button focus is an incredibly useful tool that's designed to give you a separate button on your camera for focusing so you no longer have to half press the shutter button to get your camera to focus.
For me personally Back Button focus when combined with AFC or continuous focus is amazing as it gives you far greater control over your focusing and it also really helps to capture those fleeting moments on photoshoots.

Hi Kieran. I've also been using AF-ON for years. My ZF recently arrived and I'm missing being able to configure just one button to cycle through the focus modes without having to use a button and change using the dial (3D tracking, Single focus and W-C2 for example). Is there any way to map a specific button for this?

Awesome video- got the focus moved and been meaning to do this for a bit. One question to all…as soon as I’m moved to the AF back button, my shutter fully depressed does nothing. - stopped working. - is that a setting? Thanks so much.

Howdy Kieran - IRE citizen so biased toward your content - live in Austin, TX - hey, any chance you have a content on the focal points for the Zf? I moved over from a D810 and just can't seem to find out how to control focal points - mostly shooting Corvettes and sports car events. Thanks and may god bless IRE..
