Don't wreck it. Boost it to a museum orbit for future tourism.

Deorbiting is definitely a mistake. It’s some of the oldest continuously working equipment we’ve sent into space. Simply destroying it is pointless, there’s over a quarter of a century of material degradation, stress, damage, etc that the ISS has been through. It’s invaluable to see how long our current methods last, and how well we can expect future missions to endure.

I wish we could bring at least 1 section of the ISS back. With the development of starship I’m sure it would be possible to transport at least one module before de-orbiting the station.

Why destroy it? Use the same thrust pack and push the station into a higher orbit or even a lagrange point and store it there for future salvage and or reuse.

WHY? the whole point of it being modular, was to be able to retire and add modules at any time?

I believe Elon at the end will suggest moving it to a very higher orbit to keep it there for useful future garage for parts for future structures

1st instance of space piracy, SpaceX will move further out and use as jump off station rather then build one.

SAVE IT. Boost it into a higher orbit where it will be safe for 50 years and allow people to mine it for materials. Any material in orbit is extremely valuable.

Really should boost it to a higher non decaying orbit. If we bring it back to the well, it will all just burn up. If we boost it, we will have 1 million pounds of refined material in orbit that can be processed into something for the future.

Felix: Why can't SPACEX just soft land the craft as a moon base rather than pollute our ocean? If it crashes in the end so it's on the moon. I remember when SKYLAB came down pieces of the craft washed up on the beaches of Australia for years. If anyone could do this I know it would be MUSK.
