If you do find a good, kind friend, you would be endlessly devoted to each other.

I could probably maintain a friendship with someone like that...I was raised in an environment where everything I did or said can and would be remembered and brought up and held/used against me. I developed the ability to tiptoe around people and eventually just behave in the most diplomatic way possible (when it matters).

Constantly remembering all your worst moments and lowest lows, would be soul crushing. You have to focus on the highs but I think people tend to dwell on the negatives more.

That would be a blessing for me since i dont care about mistakes much nor do i feel bad about things

I know I'm probably speaking out of term for not having this disease but with the recent losses in my life I would have actually like to remember everything about those that have lost last year

I used to remember everything.
If someone would ask me something about a day 2, 3 o 5 years ago, i would remember almost everything. What i ate, who i met, what i did.
1 day about 15 years ago i intentionally tried my best not to remember, and just save important things.
It was hard. Now i almost can't remember anything. Just the most important things.
But everything i used to remember before, i still remember.
My oldest memory is when i was 10 months old, the birth of my cousin.

Even a normal "good memory" can cause you to overthink everything. When you're sad, you think of random things that make you sadder; and when angry, you get angrier

I had no idea that wasn’t normal. I thought everyone remembers everything. And yes I am plagued by my every mistake. It can be torture but I find ways to cope. And truth be told, your videos give me a lot of hope. Thank you for sharing.

Fun fact: I'm one of the few people who has this! (Quick correction, The amount of diagnosed cases have risen to over 200 over time). It's a really fucking weird thing to control but I manage to get along relatively fine. It's become an inside joke on my streams at this point. I'm glad to see someone actually cover this on a video though. Thanks!

Edit: don't be childish and start asking shit like "alr what did you eat for breakfast exactly 4 years ago". I hate when people do that.

I think I would still take it. Imagine being able to score 100/100 on any exam. That person would be a huge asset to the world. They could do a LOT of progress in different fields. Also remember good experience.

And not only does all of that suck, Imagine having this and experiencing trauma.

Imagine experiencing the worst suffering of your life, and being able to remember every single vivid detail of it perfectly when someone or something reminds you of it.

Terrifying isn't it.

Wish I could have that for a couple hours, might get back my first 7years back. Only have a couple memories from then.

It's sad and cool that that would happen to only 60 people.

The fact if a person was abused horribly they could remember it. Bit by bit..
