Always an attractive vehicle, the 66 is still the new MG to me. The much older brother of a friend of mine drove a mid to late 50s version, which seemed to place him not too far ahead of the rear axle, from memory. The upper mudguard vents were ovular and gave it an extremely purposeful look. These were the thoughts of a six-year-old. I am not dismissing this, of course. I would have it in a heartbeat. I would drive it as a sports car, though, and not a GT or a racer. For the simple fun of it.
