Dragon Ball Daima Episode 1 gave us a TON of new lore, but one of the most interesting bits of info is the REAL origin of Piccolo and the Namekians...

To be fair this does explain a lot of Namekian’s more magical qualities. They have teeth sharp ones despite only needing water, the only needing water in the first place there are no inherent nutrients in water aside from well water, their miraculous regeneration capabilities, and the natural affinity for magic even amongst warrior clan members.

I like this better. It makes it interesting to see that they were demons and it was never a "retcon". A Namekian is a kind of demon, from the demon realm and went to another planet, but still a demon nonetheless. It's also interesting to see the realm's own dragon balls and also nice to see that not every demon is evil as Namekians are pretty chill for the most part.

Dragon Ball successfully managed to have their cake and eat it too with the Alien and Demon backgrounds of Namekians and I love it.

So everything was True, the Namekian Species was a Demon Race all along and not Aliens, I definitely need to know more when other Daima Episodes come out!
