i see no difference. i still heal from skills with either of them.

Spell vamp also works with dmg dealt by passive skills like true dmg from Thamuz passive

In short,

Physical Lifesteal: heals from basic attack with physical damage.(some skills change this feature)

Magic Lifesteal: heals from any magic damage.

Spellvamp: heals from any type of damage, produced by skills, including passive(idk about spells like execute, vengeance etc)

I'll add one thing. Spellvamp also works on true dmg. It used to work on molten essence /cursed hemmet, I'm not sure if it still works now. It should work

Physical Lifesteal: Basic Attack
Spell Vamp: Skill Attack

Ruby is an exception since her life steal is allocated to her skill. This means her skills benefit from both lifesteal and spell vamp items.

Don't get Confused for Alucard and Ruby they both Regenerates HP from their Skills, but it's not Spell Vamp, it's Lifesteal for these two.

Also please note it that damage from Item like Demon Hunter Sword, Feather of Heaven and Corrosion Shcyte is considered as Skill but only 40% Spell Vamp take effect. You can notice it when using DHS and Bloodlust Axe against bot with 80.000 HP in practice that you gain massive amount of heal in the early attack

All these ppl asking about Ruby really need to read the spells and passive description given in the game instead of just going in and finding match. it doesn't matter if you're NOT going play that hero but it helps to know the heroes in your team or the enemy. that way you'll know what they'll do to you and how you can counter or create a combo and all that. even if you don't own the hero they're still available to be studied before going into a match and getting mad when someone kills you.

Just entering a match and mashing the buttons as soon as the cooldown timer ends and hoping to win is stupid.

Physical lifesteal depends on your basic attack..spell vamp depends on the the hero skills's damage(caution:Ruby and alucard do not benefit from spell vamp), magic lifesteal depends on magic damage

Question is. Why does mage can still have high heal when dealing skill dmg while using magic lifesteal.


While physical lifesteal gives very low heal when using physical skill attack

Heros like Paquito, Alpha, Martis, Trezila doesn't need to go back to base to heal up, if there is minions, you can heal up to max with spell vamp

You should've state that the spell vamp work for any type of skills including magical skills.
