I went to a wedding consignment store when I got married. I got a $3, 000 dress for $99 and I am still obsessed with it. Definitely lots of ways to cut cost when planning a wedding!

I think the biggest thing is getting your dress altered to fit you no matter what you spent. That's the key to getting an amazing look.

I scored my wedding dress at David’s Bridal annual $99 wedding dress event sale! It was meant to be ♥️ I’m small but not quite petite, a weird size in between those... So dresses rarely fit me properly at the torso right off the rack, especially formal gowns. However, this one fit me like a glove, like it was made specifically just for me! Really perfect in all the right spots! The only thing that needed a slight alteration was length, I’m short so that’s to be expected. But because I got a deal and it fit me perfectly, I have nothing but great memories of it. Some other brides have some nightmare stories over their dresses and then dealing with alterations, which cost them thousands of dollars. But I’m over here with my $99 dress loving everything about it, from the moment I found it to the day I wore it ♥️
Edited to add: Forgot to mention the original price of my dress was $800, so that was another added bonus of it costing me only $99!!! SCORE!!!

That first one would be pretty for a casual, outdoor wedding in warm weather. I liked that shade of white on you!

I actually liked the long sleeved one. My wedding dress was a $30 green cocktail dress I bought online. I also made my veil with hot pink and green tuile.

I loved dress #2 - "The Mermaid Dress"....the third dress looked like lingerie, you could wear that for you wedding night!!!! You always look beautiful though so I think anything you pick would look amazing.

I agree, why does a wedding dress need to be expensive. Or white for that matter. Or even a dress. Go with bodypaint if that is your thing.

I really appreciated the part where you said you should feel like you on your wedding day. I've always been a natural, no makeup aesthetic and it would stress me tf out if I did a heavy makeup look and hair that wasn't me. And honestly just the whole video in general I was like yeah! You know what! I don't need to pay thousands of dollars for a dress if I don't want to! I will definitely be revisiting this video in the future to see other helpful comments on where people found their dresses. 🖤

i've been really curious about this 100 days in one dress challenge that a company called Wool& did. they have these super basic dresses that are kinda pricy imo but it's merino wool mixed with other stuff apparently. but i highly doubt that you'd want to spend that long in one dress lmao, especially considering that you're wanting to enjoy different and nice clothes :)

Getting married in 11 days 😬 planned my wedding in about a month! Lol got my dress on Amazon- super cute and simple, perfect for a July, in the park wedding! Plus it was like $40🎉 I highly recommend checking Amazon!

Got engaged in may 2019, got my dress October 2019 just fell in love and couldn't leave it . Was supposed to be married may 2021 . Now may 2022 :( fingers crossed my dress still fits 🤞

I bought my wedding dress from a outlet store I paid $150.00 for a Jessica McClintock dress because there was a flaw in the skirt but as soon as I removed the the red marking tape I could not find it .
